Bark
Bark! is a fictional project designed as the brand identity for an animal shelter that raises awareness and promotes adoption through posters and social media campaigns. The proposed campaign shows each animal twice: once as a playful puppy or kitten, and again as a senior. The first poster, featuring the young animal, carries the message “If you love me like this…” while the second, showing the animal grown old, asks “…will you still love me?”. The goal is to remind people that adopting a pet means committing to love and care for them for their entire life. The brand’s logo is a geometric animal shape (designed so you can find a dog, a fox, or even a duck) and in its full version, it also incorporates the outline of a house, symbolizing a safe and loving home. To sustain itself financially, the shelter would sell essential pet products such as food, treats, toys, and event tickets—items people would buy anyway, but here with the added value of supporting the shelter’s mission. The brand manual also includes a set of custom icons and a variety of illustrated animal characters—birds, dogs, and cats—that can be used as graphic elements across different media.
