Pekies
In 2020, I created Pekies, a fictional cookie brand blending peanut and banana in a wholesome, feel-good recipe. The name combines “peanut” with "peque" or, more accurately, "peke" (the colloquial Spanish for “small”) hinting at its playful, youth-oriented spirit. I designed a custom wordmark where the “P” resembles a peanut, paired with a bespoke “ki” ligature, and brought the brand to life with Blenny, a friendly squirrel mascot named after the typeface. The identity extends to colorful packaging and a custom display stand, making Pekies a fresh brand full of personality.
